Exploring Iceland

The Road Trip

We can’t count the number of waterfalls, either small or giant, we saw during our trip around the island. It’s surprising to admit that each one of them has its particularity… Plus, it was fun to hike, climb, get wet (!) in order to access these waterfalls.

Treks, landscapes, empty roads, black sand, puffins, sheep,…
We made 2000 kms to explore Iceland and admire all the beauty and diversity of the island.
Iceland has an exceptional location on the mid-ocean ridge in one of the most active tectonic region in the world. Then Earth is always in movement and you can really feel it living under your feet ! We were amazed by different geothermal phenomena : geyser, fumaroles, mud pots...
